Creative Art Classes

THANK YOU for this amazing journey together!

PROGRAM of 2023/ 2024

  • March - Watercolor world (end of the program)

Watercolour painting is inherently transportable. It allows for an easy clean up once you're done with your artwork. All you have to do is wash off any excess paint from your brushes. It helps children to control the amount of paint and water on the brush.

Improves hand-eye coordination.

  • February - Scratch art

Scratchboard art, also known as scratch art, is a type of artwork made by cutting or incising into a surface covered in a dark ink to reveal a lighter colored layer underneath. The light-colored lines created by scratching into the dark material define the image the artist creates.

  • January - Perspective

One point perspective is a drawing method that shows how things appear to get smaller as they get further away, converging towards a single 'vanishing point' on the horizon line. It is a way of drawing objects upon a flat piece of paper (or other drawing surface) so that they look three-dimensional and realistic.

  • December - Christmas mood

Come and get into the festive spirit with our seasonal creative art classes and craft activity. There's something for everyone.

  • November - Gold Leaf art

Gilding is the art of decorating the whole or parts of wood, metal, plaster, glass, paper or other objects with gold in leaf or powder form. Gold leaf has long been associated with the divine, symbolising the spiritual significance of the decoration. Even in the modern day, gilded decoration is prominent in churches, temples, and other liturgical art.

  • October - Neurographic art

This artwork allows children to become relaxed, calm and enter a meditative state. Drawing in this technique reduces stress and creates an overall sense of well-being. Art involves making choices and decisions, such as selecting colors, arranging shapes, and creating compositions. Engaging in these artistic processes helps children develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • September - Blow Painting

The process of blowing the paint across the paper is a great strategy for getting children to focus on their breath instead of their worries. Asking them to take slow, deep breaths as they blow the paint, can have a very calming effect. It's important to use a water based paint or colouring.

PROGRAM of 2022/ 2023

  • June - Impasto

Impasto art refers to the use of paint on canvas in thick layered strokes. This is done in order to produce texture and a three-dimensional effect. Such a fun process art activity.

  • May - Fauvisme

Fauvism was known for bold, vibrant, almost acidic colours used in unusual juxtaposition, and an intuitive, highly gestural application of paint. It can also be seen as a form of expressionism in its use of brilliant colours and spontaneous brushwork. This technique is a pretty awesome art style and we think you will like it too.

  • April - Decoupage

Decoupage is a creative technique used to decorate various objects by cutting out pictures from various papers or napkins and applying them with glue in layers onto an object. This technique can be used to decorate various objects made of wood, glass, plastic, etc.

  • March - 3D clay art

3D art activities do not only help kids unleash their creativity, but they also help them tap into their imagination. The reason behind it, as a child troubleshoots how to build his sculpture, he will be using a lot of his imagination to create an excellent 3D object. It will happen because, at one point, the child may have to try various methods before getting the 3D structure right. In this manner, the activity allows your kid to use their imagination and develop numerous ways to solve this problem and determine what is right and wrong when creating it.

  • February - Pencil month

We start With Lines, Shapes, Colors.  Pencils are more important than crayons or markers as the pencil is the basic art supply.

Drawing and sketching in particular have been connected with improved creativity, memory, and stress relief, and are also used in art therapy. Drawing skills and activities are a fundamental aspect of many creative practices. You may use them to express your plans and ideas. Learning about different drawing abilities may help you apply them in different parts of your life.

  • January - Pointillism

Dot Painting is a great way to encourage children to explore Aboriginal Art and help them to understand the colours. Children practice hand eye coordination as they direct the stamp to go where they aim on the paper. - Hand dexterity improves as they hold and flip the dot markers and practice their fine motor skills. - They experiment with mark making and artistic expression through color choice.

“Express yourself”

Art is an ideal way for children to explore and work with their creativity. It also provides a safe space where kids can be themselves without fear of judgment. In addition, through art, a child can understand and express their emotions better.

However, not all children are fond of making arts and crafts. They find it difficult to do and do not have an interest in doing it. If your kid is not showing interest in learning art yet, there is nothing to fear. Like reading and writing, art can also be nurtured and developed.

We’ll use art, the creative process, and the resulting artwork to explore their feelings, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety, increase self-esteem, discover hidden abilities, and learn that each one is a unique piece of art.

Art gives children a way to convey thoughts or feelings that may seem too complex to be expressed in words. School – can promote safety during times of uncertainty, trauma, or conflict.

The Art lessons will give children a way to convey thoughts or feelings that may seem too complex to be expressed in words. They will learn different artistic techniques, create a unique piece of art and give a short presentation about it.  As a result, they will gain and improve in confidence, empathy with others and creativity skills.
